Jools is both an incredible musician and person😄I’ve had the privilege to work and write songs with him and he is so inspiring! I have learnt so much from him. 🎶👍😄

When I started my lessons I was a complete novice, daunted by the idea of learning to play guitar.

At the age of 25 I thought I was ‘too old’ to attempt to play a musical object. After showing interest in learning to play guitar I was lucky to be given Jools as my guitar teacher who made me feel at ease straight away. I never have set shift patterns and swap from days to nights frequently leaving me tired and grumpy but Jools flexibility with this and patience helps all the more and he always makes my lessons fun, worthwhile and fulfilling. I always enjoy my lessons and numerous times I’ve said ‘I can’t do that’ but Jools has me doing it in no time!
Within the space of 4 months I’ve learnt basic chords and can play several, different songs including songs with barre chords. Maybe Jools got a talented student or I got the perfect teacher. Who knows?! I highly recommend Jools for anyone thinking about starting guitar or any instrument he teaches for that matter.
